I just thought I would throw in some random pictures of Pumpkin. The first three are her playing with her Daddy on the couch cushions and the last one is of Pumpkin and my parents. This was when they were on their way back from Canada and Michigan and Wisconsin.

A Post for Auntie T

I've heard that Auntie T and family check this blog daily (and sometimes more than once a day) to see new pictures. I have been disappointing them, evidently! Here are some new pictures to try and make it up to them. You may notice that they are blurry. That is because Pumpkin won't sit or stand still AT ALL. This girl is always moving. Ok, her new word is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . tickle. I kid you not, she can say tickle!! She will tickle the pictures in her books, she will tickle herself (she has a fascination with her belly button!). She says it very softly so I don't think I'll be able to catch it on video but it is the cutest thing ever. She also is fascinated by hats and shoes (diva in training). If she sees a hat she will say "that, that, that" until you give it to her. I've learned to hide her hats and shoes if I don't want to hear "that, that, that" for 15 minutes!!

What's been going on in our world? A has been working a lot. We're trying to plan a vacation this fall when A has his sabbatical. I've decided to make my own Roman Shades for pretty much every window in the house (ok, just 9 windows) so there has been an insane amount of shopping for that (JoAnn's Fabric had a 60% off decorator fabric sale last weekend so I couldn't pass that up). Pumpkin decided 2 nights ago that she was going to get up at 12:41 and then stay up until 3 a.m. Not nice to her poor Mommy. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep. How did I ever get up every 2 hours to feed her? I guess I was on auto pilot! It is insanely hot where we are. The grass is starting to turn brown. Yeah!! For those of you who think that is weird, our yard is over 3 1/2 acres that we have to mow and when the grass turns brown it means we don't have to mow as much. The good thing about living in the country is that we don't have to rake leaves or put weed-and-feed down, we don't want our grass to grow!

I've joined the leadership council for our Mom's group at church so I am taking on more responsibility with that. I've volunteered to become the craft lady for the meetings and am having fun trying to come up with easy, cheap and fun crafts that I can demonstrate for our monthly meetings. I'm also doing the newsletter which is forcing me to figure out my Mac's word processing program.

Well, I hope Auntie T is satisfied. I also have a video I will try to get edited in the next day or two. I just haven't taken many pictures/videos lately.
