He was born on February 27th at 2:02 p.m. He weighed 8 lbs, 8 oz and was 21 inches long. We were scheduled to go into surgery at 11 a.m. but there was some emergency surgeries before us so we got pushed back to 2 p.m., which made for a long morning. But, once they got going it didn't take long before I was in surgery and he was born. The first thing we noticed was that he has A's cleft chin, it is very cute. You can definitely tell who his daddy is.
On the way to the nursery to get weighed. I was sure he would be over 10 lbs so I was completely surprised when they called back from the nursery with the info that he only weighed 8 lbs 8 oz. I was shocked to say the least.
He is a very quiet kind of boy. We were just talking last night about how mellow he is, he doesn't cry a lot. Pumpkin was very wide eyed from the minute she came out, he is more laid back.
Grandma and her boy. She stayed with Pumpkin while we were in the hospital. We are so thankful for her because not only did she take wonderful care of Pumpkin in general, she also had to do it while Pumpkin was sick. On Sunday morning we ended up taking Pumpkin to the pediatrician because she had been having a fever since Thursday. It turned out she had an ear and throat infection.
