We went to the pediatrician on Thursday for Pumpkin's 2 month check-up. She weighed 12 pounds 5 ounces and was 23 2/4 inches long. (At her one month visit she weighed 10 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long). Our girl is growing, she is officially out of her newborn clothes and she can even wear some of her 3 month clothes. She is very talkative, she likes to oooh and ahhh. She is very smiley lately and she has started to make these high pitched squeals in the last couple of days. They're pretty loud now, I can't imagine how loud they will get!!
She got her shots at the Dr. visit and did pretty well. I nursed her right after the shots and she was making these very sad noises, Mommy cried a little right along with her. She didn't seem to have any adverse reactions to them. She is her normal self.
That night she stayed with Grandpa "H" and "C" for a couple hours while we went out for my birthday dinner. She did good and Mommy didn't cry so I view her 1st evening away from us a success.
Congratulations on your first AC date (after children). It's not the same as a BC date, but that's ok....:-)
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful as always. BTW Auntie has a 4th outfit for her - 3-6mo, hopefully she will be able to wear it at least some of the day. Aunt K & I have matching dresses for her 2, LS's 2, SP's and yours. It will be fun to get a picture. SEE YOU SOON LITTLE PRINCESS!
